1. What's your must-watch Christmas specials? "Elf""Home Alone""How The Grinch Stole Christmas" (live-action one)
"The Polar Express"
"The Santa Clause"Every Christmas, me and my family
always watch these movies. And we never
get tired of them.~
2. Ever been caroling? Where?Yes I have been. It was when I was in school still,
being in an All-Girl's Choir class, we were
invited to sing carols at the mall a few years ago.
It was alot of fun, I enjoyed it very much. ~
3. Favorite Christmas hymns/carols?"God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen"
"O Holy Night"
"Silent Night"
"The Little Drummer Boy"And many more!
4. Favorite Christmas songs? "Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer"
"Carol Of The Bells"
"Jingle Bells"
"Deck The Halls"
"Winter Wonderland"
"All I Want For Christmas Is You"
"Feliz Navidad"
"Last Christmas"
"Santa Claus Is Coming To Town"
"It's Beginning To Look Alot Like Christmas"I have more, but that's all you're getting for now XD
5. Best Christmas service?
Interlochen Lights, a town tradition where a small
part of the community, for example, the area that I live in always
do this every year, decorate their homes like..over-the-top. Not
just simple lights, and a simple reindeer on the lawn. Oh no,
I mean..the homes completely decked out from top to bottom. Practically making them look like a Gingerbread House..or The North Pole...Santa's Workshop..you name it. Some are awarded for "Best Decorations"..or "Best Theme"..you get the idea.
Me and the family drive through the homes, to see all the pretty deocrations
and stuff. Some homeowners even sell hot cocoa or snacks during the special occasion, to those who have come the see the decorative houses.
6. Favorite family Christmas tradition?Every year, we always do a "Secret Santa" I'm sure
most people are familiar with this term. So, yeah..other than that,
I don't recall having a Christmas tradition other than watch our favorite holiday films together. XD
7. Best Christmas desserts of all time?Sugar Cookies, Dulce de Tres Leches, Homemade Chocolate Chip
and Snickerdoodle cookies, of course, I make the cookies myself, since
I'm the only one in my family only, that does all the baking lol
8. Presents at Midnight or Christmas morning proper? Most of the time, we open them in the mornings.
Past years, we would open them at midnight, since
me and my sisters were just so eagered to tear that wrapping from the gifts.
But since we're older, of course, we wait..we're more laid back now pfft.
9. Dressed or PJ's for opening? PJ's!
10. Ham or turkey? Or something else entirely for Christmas dinner?Turkey, but my parents always prefer Tamales.
11. Colored or white lights? Always colored! You see white lights year round, what's so special about that? Colored lights are where it's at!
12. Big decorator or do you keep it on the down low? When we did had our own home many years ago, me and my family would deck out the house from top to bottom. But now, since we live in a townhome, we can't really do that. So..we just only put lights around the windows, and a small decor on the door.
I guess we're more chilled now lol
13. Do you stay at home all of Christmas day or go out?We stay home all day. Not once do we leave.
14. Artificial or real tree?Artificial. I live in Texas...where do you go to even get a real tree?
It ain't that easy in the city. And plus..it'll be a bit more messy. And what if one of the lights burst, and go into flames? It'll surely bring down the house. And also because trees need to be untouched, and out where they belong.
